The Best Las Vegas Shows Reviews

Entertainment lovers will be hard pushed to make decisions about which show to see in the glamorous and glitzy city of Las Vegas. The place is simply alive and bristling with that unmistakeable showbiz gleam. And some of the world’s greatest and most respected stars regularly perform there. Headline acts, such as Elton John and Celine Dion famously command kingly or queenly sums for one night only acts. Vegas is the undisputed Entertainment Capital of the World, and its venues, like Caesar’s Palace are often as famous as the superstars who play there.

Seeing one or more Las Vegas Shows is something that should be on everyone’s to do list! Performances are spectacular, this is an environment where understated is not a word that features in the vernacular. Vegas shows are bigger and better than other shows, they’re high impact glamorous occasions that are unforgettable.

But don’t be fooled into thinking it’s all gambling and cabaret in Las Vegas. The city’s reputation as a stand up comedy and musical theatre venue is strong too.

Comedy
As soon as the spotlight hits stand up comedian and actor Kevin James at the Mirage in Las Vegas, the audience knows it’s in good hands. His is currently promising to be one of the greatest Las Vegas Shows running. James’s face is one that many will recognise from the CBS comedy series The King of Queens, in which he plays Doug Heffernan. He is instantly recognisable as the Brooklyn based single parent fireman from the movie I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, a story that covers, with hilarious results, the bogus gay marriage between Larry (played by James) and his fire-buddy Chuck (Adam Sandler). On stage doing his stand up routine James is as self deprecating as ever, and his observations on every day life are made from an obscure but honestly funny angle.

Music
For many who loved their music the first time around, this return of British American rock band Fleetwood Mac to the world of Las Vegas Shows will come as a welcome treat. The beautiful Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, whose unmistakeable breathy vocals made the band’s sound so distinctive will be amongst the line up along with other Mac band members John McVie and Mick Fleetwood. Fleetwood Mac’s Las Vegas Shows are rated as some of their best ones, so when they are in the city it is well worth booking tickets to see them.

Theatre/Musicals
The transition from screen to stage of the Lion King has been a spectacular one and the show really does benefit from a Las Vegas venue. It’s big, it’s loud and it’s a dazzling spectacular of breathtaking proportions. The music and the songs are familiar, anyone who’s had a child will probably know them all backwards! And this makes for a wonderful easy feeling watching the performance. Although the show derives from the movie (it is incidentally the first Disney production ever to go to stage) it has some very different aspects, making it very much it’s own creation. The costumes are outstanding, the choreography suberb. This really is one of those Las Vegas Shows that’s a must.

Best Las Vegas Hotels – Discover the Magic of Sin City

If you’re planning a trip to sin city anytime soon you are going to want to know exactly what the best Las Vegas hotels are charging for rooms. Well we have some great news for you that we are sure you are going to like. You can have a memorable trip to Las Vegas and you can do without breaking the bank or coming home broke (what you do in the casino is a different story).

A vacation in Vegas should be one filled with glitz and glamour, comfort and ambience. After all, this spectacular city has 15 of the largest hotels in the world. If you’ve ever been there, you know the impact the strip has on you the first time.

I can recall my last trip to Las Vegas when I stayed at the MGM Grand. It is a beautiful property no doubt about it, but just maybe it’s too big. Every time I wanted to grab my rental car and go somewhere it took me 10 minutes to get from my room to MGM’s parking garage. Of course you can always use the valet to get your car for you but I actually appreciated the chance to get the exercise so I walked to it.

Some of the best Las Vegas hotels are located off the strip. Fremont Street is loaded with all the classic hotel casinos that we have come to know in the movies and on TV. The Golden Nugget, Fitzgerald’s, the Four Queens are just a few of the classic downtown Las Vegas hotels that offer very comfortable accommodations that are also very affordable.

There are also several properties away from the strip and downtown such as the Green Valley Ranch for example. Many of these resorts are every bit as luxurious as their better-known cousins. Many people that go to Las Vegas seem to think that they have to stay at a hotel on the world-famous strip or on Fremont Street to have an enjoyable experience. That’s not true at all.

The themed hotels and casinos are among the best Las Vegas hotels. If you want a real treat you’ll visit them even if you don’t decide to stay there; like the Venetian with its real gondolas. When you go for a ride you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to Venice. There’s also the Hard Rock Casino with all the rock-and-roll memorabilia and ambiance you could ever want. The Paris has a replica of the Eiffel Tower and the New York, New York one of the skyline of New York. If you’re taking the kids, they’ll enjoy Treasure Island and the battling pirate ships.

If you have time to plan your trip to Las Vegas you can do your research and find the best deals. It really pays to compare prices. There are always deals available regardless of what season it is. You just have to know where to look. If you’re a last minute traveler and want to find something right away, be sure and check for last-minute cancellations. They’re a great way to save.

The best Las Vegas hotels offer a wide assortment of package deals and specials. You’ll find ones that include tickets to a show or a free meal to help entice you into staying at their hotel. This works to your advantage. If you’re booking a flight, look for a flight/hotel combo package. The best way of all to have your vacation paid for is to win big at the tables, but unfortunately, all of the great tips I have on how to do that will have to wait for another time. Sorry!

Doubledate The Las Vegas Strip In Classic Rental Car

You have been in love for a long time with the all-American classic Ford Thunderbird. You may have been dreaming about cruising on the strip of Las Vegas with your girlfriend in your arms. You have done your homework, put the pictures on the wall, saved enough money, and planned for the trip. But sometimes reality does not go along with us, it is either we need to spend a lot more money than what you have or that your best friend and his girl also want to go cruising with you and you just can’t say no. What a bummer, right?

Wrong.

Car rentals in Las Vegas abound that offer sports and classic car models for you to take on the road. And of course if you want a Thunderbird that seats four people (you and your girl with your bestfriend and his), then you have got to go rent the 1960 Ford Thunderbird.

The 1960 Ford Thunderbird was part of the second generation automobiles introduced first in 1958 as a four-seater car. This four-seat Thunderbird was designed with unibody construction abandoning a separate chassis. The purpose was to allow the maximum interior space in a small exterior package.

The new Thunderbird got the Motortrend’s Car of the Year Award for its debut season. Though many fans of the earlier two-seat Thunderbird were not that glad about its new direction, sales doubled more than the previous year. This, despite losing three months to production and 1958 being a very low year for car sales.

The 1960 Thunderbird had no mechanical changes, having only a few styling differences by adding the vertical hash-marks added to rear fenders, six taillights instead of four, a square-mesh grille with full-width horizontal bars, and a “Thunderbird” script on the door projectile.

On its emblems and ornaments, there were changes but still minor. Added were a standard rectangular outside mirror, door handles that blended more closely with the upper belt molding and door trims that were changed to incorporate a built-in armrest. The 1960 model also used stainless-steel components and there were even two cars that were made entirely of stainless steel by one of Ford’s suppliers, Allegheny-Ludlum Steel Corporation.

The 1960 Ford Thunderbird, in all its muscle and American stylings, can be taken for a cruise down the Vegas dirt road or even for just a night out on the strip. The four-seater that it is, you can either enjoy a duo or with the company of friends.

So if you find your best friend and his girl jumping in on your trip, thus potentially ruining your plan, don’t despair just now. You can still ride one of the great all-American classic cars with your girl and of course your best friend and his girl. Las Vegas car rentals are here to save your day. With a classic car as your ride, double dates are a piece of cake.
