Can anyone tell me about the following Las Vegas hotels?

The Luxor

South Point Hotel

Golden Nugget Hotel

Are they worth the value? What are their casinos like? Do they offer poker tables? Are they convenient? How’s the service?

Any info you could give me would be great.

Best Casino Las Vegas

The first thing you will notice when you visit this resort, is the phenomenally designed exterior. The awe-inspiring casino interior builds on the first impression and is a visual architectural masterpiece. The gaming facilities are top notch with more than two thousand video poker and slot machines, over forty blackjack tables, seven roulette wheels, eight craps tables and many other games that will tickle your fancy. Make sure to walk through the ?streets’ of New York, New York to discover all the interesting games as well as the beautifully designed buildings and tasty restaurants. Nothing has been spared when planning the realistic half sized version of the Statue of Liberty, and scaled-down models of many skyscrapers and the Empire State Building often amaze this casino and visitors. Hospitality is also on par in terms of attention to detail.

Others may argue that the Paris Las Vegas is the best casino Las Vegas has to offer. It is built on the south side of the Las Vegas Boulevard, and you will find it at number 3655. All gamers who want an experience as well as enjoying games should visit the Paris Las Vegas casino at least once. Think beautiful Parisian streets and buildings with careful attention to design details. Also, 3 parts of the hotel’s 50-story ?Eiffel Tower’ replica extend into the gaming area.

Over 2000 video poker and slot machines and over hundred table games are interspersed on the Parisian streets. Paris Las Vegas also features an exclusive high-limit area for serious professionals or high rollers. The resort has a plush race and sports book lounge for athletic wagers. When you feel like a break, take a ride to the top of the Eiffel Tower and enjoy the extraordinary view of the Vegas Strip, or make a point of seeing the “Notre Dame de Paris” musical spectacular.

Seasoned gamblers often call The Rio the Best Casino Las Vegas, and recommend that all gamers should visit it at least once. It?s located on 3700 Flamingo road, which is west of the ?Strip.’

Visitors can expect the hotel and casino to have a bright and festive atmosphere that’s in line with the resort’s Rio Carnivale theme. Ranked high in service and hospitality, the Rio houses more than 2400 video poker and slot machines, sixty blackjack and thirteen craps tables, eleven roulette wheels, and plenty other games, including a large sports book and race betting lounge. The tables have affordable minimums, and maximum energy entertainment shows, such as the Masquerade Show in the Sky. This casino is jam-packed with good features and is worth the short trip off the Strip.

The (Electric) Sun Never Sets In Las Vegas

This sparkly mirage sprouting from the middle of Nevada’s massive Mojave Desert will draw any willing soul into its decadent embrace, thirst or no thirst. Las Vegas’ adult-sized playground of gargantuan casinos, shops and amusement parks, linked to one another by moving walkways and trams, will keep you guessing what time of day it is – until you finally realize that it just doesn’t matter. Over 40 luxury hotel-casinos line the Strip, the heart of Las Vegas Boulevard, each with their own set of swanky nightclubs, world-famous restaurants, 24-hour buffets and award-wining shows.

The Entertainment Capital of the World

Las Vegas did not earn this accolade by chance. It is the home of the internationally acclaimed Cirque du Soleil, the funky Blue Man Group, an abundance of unparalleled theater performances, and, of course, the world famous Las Vegas showgirls. At the southern end of the Strip, Mandalay Bay Hotel

Do you have to take the highway from the Las Vegas Airport to the venetian?

The last time I went to Vegas (March of 09 I think), they were doing construction on that back road going along the strip. I usually tell the cab driver “No Tunnel” when I leave the airport but the last time he took me down the strip and it took forever! I’m just checking what would be the best way now and if they still have construction going on?

Thanks!
