Where to go on holiday?
I’m a single female and want to go away on holiday for about 10 days in may for my birthday (I’m turning 21) and I’m looking for ideas of where to go. I have a budget of about £1000, and I want somewhere where there is a good nightlife and also where there are things to do during the day and sights to see (I like taking pictures). I definitely do want to go anywhere in Europe, I was thinking about Las Vegas, but want other suggestions.

Rent a Classic Car in Las Vegas
You can take the Deuce to hop around the major resorts in the Las Vegas Strip down to Fremont Street, or you may opt for the trolley, or better yet, just hail a taxi whenever you need to go to a particular Las Vegas venue. However, the most sensational ride that would definitely bear a mark on your Las Vegas experience would be to lease a custom built 1958 Corvette from one of the many classic car rentals in Las Vegas.
This baby will surely grab attention moving about on the Strip. But this is only an example of what you can actually drive around Las Vegas. As purposely mentioned earlier, there are a lot of classic car rentals in Vegas from which you can look for that ideal vintage car that you’ve always dreamed of driving. The smoothness and mere smell of leather upholstery, the wonders of a vintage convertible, and the elegance of a classic road machine will surely make your drive in Vegas unforgettable.
Of course, booking classic car rentals in Las Vegas is not only limited to tourists or first timers in Las Vegas. Classic car rentals in Vegas especially applies to couples, or even singles, who are vying to celebrate special events in a remarkably memorable style. Just imagine a tribute version of a 1934 Duesenberg or an authentic 1987 Rolls Royce Silver Spur limousine pulling up the driveway of a church or chapel to let a blooming bride make a classy and elegant entrance while the besotted groom interestingly watches the breathtaking scene.
Or if you want to surprise your significant other with an extra special birthday celebration packaged with stylish flair, then get your fingers busy looking for a vintage car from the classic car rentals in Las Vegas. And there is no missing in making mention of the fact that if you want to make your wedding anniversary extraordinary and memorable for your loved one, then leasing the tribute version of the 1965 AC Cobra would be most ideal. Of course, this is just giving you ideas of what great cars can be leased from these numerous classic car rentals in Vegas.
And you know what else is so great about these classic car rentals in Las Vegas? There are many ways in which you can rent the vehicle. You can opt to rent your desired vintage ride for several days, for 24 hours, or even for a five-hour period only.
Also, there actually some classic car rentals in Vegas that would let you drive the leased vehicle anywhere in the United States, so long as you won’t mind paying the extra fees and perhaps insurances on top of their daily rates. Of course, that’s limited to cruising around the United States without crossing the border to Mexico. The car rental would also require the vehicle to be picked up and returned in the lively city of Las Vegas.

Vegas Nightclubs: The Rules Of The Game
People travel in and out of “Sin City” everyday, but for the travelers that enjoy nightlife, one fact holds true. Getting into clubs can be nearly impossible! Many go to clubs assuming that if you wait in line long enough, you will eventually get it. That is not the case, although you might sometimes get in if you have the patience, but usually there is a reason why you have to wait.
You could be waiting because:
- You’re not following the dress code
- You don’t meet ratio requirements
- You’re not nice to the bouncer
- The club is full
You’re Not Following the Dress code
If you were a bouncer at an exclusive nightclub that is responsible for keeping the clubs name as sexy, upscale and trendy as possible, would you let someone through the rope that was not that? Always check what the dress code is before you go out. Overdressed is always better than being underdressed.
You Don’t Meet Ratio Requirements
A common rule that all the top clubs follow is “bring girls and guys will follow.” That is why women usually get free entry, as well as something else to get them into clubs. Free drinks, complimentary meals, and appetizers are all commonplace. The more women clubs attract, the more men are willing to pay for the pleasure of being in their presence. If you look at tables in Vegas clubs, you will notice that men reserve almost all of them. That is the nature of the game. The better the ratio of women to men, the hotter the club is. That is why bouncers at clubs look for certain ratios for groups. Two-to-one is normal for the hottest clubs in Vegas. For less crowded places, one-to-one is acceptable.
So, before you make it out to a club, think about this rule. If it is a popular club, think about how many women are in your group. If there is not twice as many as there are of you, plan on showing up early and tipping to get through.
You’re Not Nice to the Bouncer
The bouncer is what stands between you and a great night. He can make or break your evening by not letting you pass through the ropes. So why would you get angry, or get in an argument with him? If he does not like you, you will not get through it is that simple. If anything, you want to be extremely friendly with the bouncer. Make small talk and try to start a normal conversation. They are not animals, if you talk to them like people; it is much more likely that you will get through. However, do not over due it because nobody likes a fake person.
The Club is Full
Even if you follow all the rules, a club full to capacity will not let you in. A fine from the fire marshal is much more than the money they will make from letting a few more people in. Nevertheless, do not be discouraged, patience is a virtue. Even if the club is full there are still people moving in and out, and therefore you will get in when enough people leave. If you want to increase your chance of getting in, show up early when the club opens.
Tables and Bottle Service
A table is the only thing that can almost guarantee entry. A normal bottle sells for around $400, and costs only around $25. The markup is amazing, and a bottle will be required for about every three to four people. In addition, hosts are the ones making these reservations, and they make a commission off it too. So not letting in a table would definitely not benefit the club or the host that booked the sale. But even if you have a table, it is possible to get bumped for a bigger table if a better one comes along and everything is booked up. However, be assured that if this happens, the club will still let you in and try their best to make you happy so that you will come back.
These are the “Vegas nightclub rules of the game.” This guide cannot guarantee entry, but it can dramatically increase your chances above the average Joe. So follow the rules, be safe, and have fun.
