identify your target audience n approach companies that cater to that audience.. maybe u could modify your show to link to the sponsor.. nightlife would appeal to young workin adults.. so fashion, liquor n other trendy brands would be good targets.. u could also consider consulting advertising companies..
Hi, My name is Lee, in Houston, TX. I’m a Business Support Project manager. I saw your question for getting sponsors and if realize it or not if your TV Show is entertaining or educatinal your job just got a little easier if its a benefit to everyone.
Basic steps to getting sponsorships. 1. TV Show Documentations, have your letter, flyers, business cards, brochures, photos, and information as mission, goal, and the research of estimated viewers, in a nice folder to present. (The library have books on how to get sponsors.) 2. Know what to say and practice presenting your proposal so you will be organized and save time. 3. Make a contact list of businesses in your zip code, call them, schedule an appointment. and follow up. Use http://www.yellowpages.com to search for business in your area. 4. Dress in business attire for success, be on time, use map while consider traffic, have everthing ready to go the day before. 5. Close the deal with your sponsorship form or contract. ****Sometimes going with a good looking person male or female can make a sweet deal happen, it weird but it happens.***
If you need more help with the production of print materials, computer presentations, or web design let me know. I have created a few sponsorships packages for myself and saw others with diffrent commitment levels.
Here are some ideas i thought about in your case:
*Getting small local business in that area of the event to post their logo on a tshirt for $100 ea. It covers the price of tshirts, while promoting their company and making great gifts for the first 30-50 guests at the event.
* We also have a mobile marketing service where the local stores, clubs, or businesses can have an ad or coupon show on mobile phones to get customers.
Call 702-348-1585 – ask for Cee Cee. She can get your show nation wide or local on cable or internet.
