Of course man! Don’t get yourself down! Las Vegas is terminally reputed as the drinking and sex capital of the Southwest (which is true) but not nearly the most fun part of this electric city. Read Jack Kerouac’s “On The Road” and learn to appreciate the vibrant culture that you have been thrust into. At night, walk the strip and dig everything. So many electric lights, buffets, musical performances, musuems, fancy hotels. Go exploring all day! I would kill to be in the position you are in, bumming around the great Vegas shark like its my own Lousiana Purchase.
There is a lot to do in vegas for adults, not so much for teens. i suggest that you could go to the hotels and look around. theyre pretty cool. you can go to adventuredome or stratosphere. they have some pretty scary rides up there! you also could check out the pools. they are really cool! the mandalay bay has a beach and you could always meet some girls! you just gotta know where to go. hope you have fun!
You don’t need to stick to the Strip to have fun in Las Vegas. There is hiking and rock climbing at Red Rock, swimming at Lake Mead. There used to be a place called SkyMania, check and see if that place is still there, it’s a fun trampoline/sporty place. There are lots of malls; try town square for a fun place to hang out Usually if you buy a hot chocolate, Starbucks will let you and your friends loiter for a while. You just need to be creative and look off the Strip.
