Chris Mintz-Plasse had never seen the 1985 vampire flick “Fright Night” when he auditioned for DreamWorks’ remake, which begins filming in late July. It wasn’t until he won the role of “Evil” Ed, the protagonist’s friend, that he bought the movie and watched it.
