La La and Sin City – What to do?

I am 25 years old girl visiting Los Angeles for 5 nights and Las Vegas for 5 nights in the middle of September with my best friend. We see the shows (Hills etc.) and imagine it to be like that but we fear/hope? that it isnt ALL like that – what activities, theme parks, restaurants, nightlife would you recommend to ensure we have the dream holiday we hope it will be? We live in London and as we work in football we get to be involved in all the latest events, bars etc. here so hope to emulate and better our experiences here, in the States. Another neat thing to do while you are visiting Las Vegas is go to the conservatory and botanical gardens at the Bellagio, which is just a hop and a skip away from most of the Las Vegas timeshare rentals.

I’m turning 21 in March, what city is the most fun to visit?

So I live in Chicago and for my 21st birthday I wanted to go to a fun city with a couple of girlfriends. Preferably in America, and with a really fun nightlife.
