How do I announce our wedding in Las Vegas w/o people feeling obligated to come?

I wanted to send out like a save the date announce the wedding in Vegas and the date. I know times are tough so I don’t want our friends and family to feel obligated to come out if they can’t afford it. I’m looking for opinions on the wording mostly. Thanks!

How come there are no more good shows in Las Vegas?

Ever since 2003, there have been NO good shows in Vegas! Anyone else think so?

Who do I ask to come to our Las Vegas wedding?

My fiancee and I have decided to kind of elope to Las Vegas (we live in Ohio) rather than have a huge hassle of a wedding. But now I am not sure who we should include in the invitations. I know our parents and siblings are in, as well as a couple of close friends. We would like to offer help in paying for plane tickets and hotel rooms, but we can’t afford a whole lot. Should we just stick with immediate family and very close friends, or should we branch out into other family? And what do you tell the people who are not invited? Just wait until it’s over then send an invite for a local reception?
