Showgirls have been a part of Las Vegas since the Rat Pack days and before, but generally in window dressing capacity. This is one of the first real attempts to capitalize on the complete performing talents of a set of showgirls and actually make them the stars of a magic revue. Its worked unusually well as they run through a variety of eyebrow-raising illusions such as Houdinis Metamorphosis, levitation, and a double rendition of sawing the girl in half with an interesting clothing switch thrown in. The topless performances (later show) tend to draw more of the party crowd specifically looking for the classy adult entertainment that Las Vegas is now known for. The dancers are naturally beautiful, fun, sexy, and tasteful. Although NOT a strip club atmosphere, the topless show is a good alternative to hitting a strip club for that group of guys out on the town. If you’re planning a trip to sin city anytime soon you are going to want to know exactly what the best Las Vegas hotels are charging for rooms. Well we have some great news for you that we are sure you are going to like. You can have a memorable trip to Las Vegas and you can do without breaking the bank or coming home broke (what you do in the casino is a different story).

I can recall my last trip to Las Vegas when I stayed at the MGM Grand. It is a beautiful property no doubt about it, but just maybe it’s too big. Every time I wanted to grab my rental car and go somewhere it took me 10 minutes to get from my room to MGM’s parking garage. Of course you can always use the valet to get your car for you but I actually appreciated the chance to get the exercise so I walked to it.

Some of the best Las Vegas hotels are located off the strip. Fremont Street is loaded with all the classic hotel casinos that we have come to know in the movies and on TV. The Golden Nugget, Fitzgerald’s, the Four Queens are just a few of the classic downtown Las Vegas hotels that offer very comfortable accommodations that are also very affordable.

There are also several properties away from the strip and downtown such as the Green Valley Ranch for example. Many of these resorts are every bit as luxurious as their better-known cousins. Many people that go to Las Vegas seem to think that they have to stay at a hotel on the world-famous strip or on Fremont Street to have an enjoyable experience. That’s not true at all.

The themed hotels and casinos are among the best Las Vegas hotels. If you want a real treat you’ll visit them even if you don’t decide to stay there; like the Venetian with its real gondolas. When you go for a ride you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to Venice. There’s also the Hard Rock Casino with all the rock-and-roll memorabilia and ambiance you could ever want. The Paris has a replica of the Eiffel Tower and the New York, New York one of the skyline of New York. If you’re taking the kids, they’ll enjoy Treasure Island and the battling pirate ships.

If you have time to plan your trip to Las Vegas you can do your research and find the best deals. It really pays to compare prices. There are always deals available regardless of what season it is. You just have to know where to look. If you’re a last minute traveler and want to find something right away, be sure and check for last-minute cancellations. They’re a great way to save.

The best Las Vegas hotels offer a wide assortment of package deals and specials. You’ll find ones that include tickets to a show or a free meal to help entice you into staying at their hotel. This works to your advantage. If you’re booking a flight, look for a flight/hotel combo package. The best way of all to have your vacation paid for is to win big at the tables, but unfortunately, all of the great tips I have on how to do that will have to wait for another time. Sorry!
