Will a Las Vegas wedding be recognised for my NZ boyfriend to gain UK marriage visa?

I am British, my boyfriend is from New Zealand. We want to get married in Las Vegas, he will then go back home to New Zealand and apply for a British Marriage Visa to come back to the UK.
Can you forsee any problems with this?
Is there anything i should be aware of relating to 2 foreigners getting married in USA?
