Nicole Richie Hosts New Years Eve 2010 at LAVO Nightclub Las Vegas With special Guest DJ Joel Madden

Once again LAVO will ring in the New Year in true Las Vegas style. At LAVO Nicole Richie leads the countdown as beau Joel Madden spins a special DJ set. Fireworks have returned to the Las Vegas Strip, and the terrace at LAVO will provide a prime viewing location. Tickets are currently $150 for LAVO and include entry to one venue, open bar and passed hors doeuvres from 9 pm 11 pm and a champagne toast at midnight. How hard is it to get into a nightclub in Las Vegas with a fake ID?

I am 18 years old and will be leaving in a few days to vacation in LAS VEGAS. I want to enjoy the nightlife and go clubbing a lot. I have a pretty legit fake ID that says I am 21. I was wondering how easy (or hard) it is to get into a nightclub in Las Vegas with a fake ID. Do bouncers usually scan ID’s? Will they tell right away that it is fake? are they very strict or somewhat lenient?
