We drive for a bit on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe, and I must say that it’s not as pretty as the California side, but the boys are excited to see the small casinos that we passed. I did admire the beautiful snow capped mountains as we left the region. It’s about a 5 hour drive from Lake Tahoe to Yosemite, and it’s a very interesting ride because of the different types of terrain you go through on the trip. For the most part, you are way in the middle of nowhere. We did go through Carson City, Nevada, but there’s really not that much there. Once again the boys did get a kick out seeing the casinos we passed,but they didn’t like the Las Vegas casinos the boys have seen on TV. I was surprised how “wild west” looking this part of California was. When you did see a town, it would be tiny, and most of the land was ranch land and there were very few houses. It provided us one more experience that showed us how varied and wonderful California is. After about three and half hours of driving, the terrain changed again and we started to climb. Midway Family Fun Park Commercial

I made a commercial, with the help of my editor Maegan, about the Midway Family Fun Park arcade in Ottawa. I was going for a “Las Vegas Casinos” looky (the choice in song and the speedy montage of the attractions) and I think it worked quite well. The only thing I wish I could have done better was the sound quality for the narrator. Other than that, I am quite proud of this one and I have received many positive comments (here and in person), including people who actually work at Midway. Enjoy!
