Are tickets for shows in Las Vegas cheaper if purchased in Vegas rather than online?

I am planning on seeing Mystere – Cirque Du Soleil in Vegas on Tues Oct 27th, 2009. I want to know if I should purchase advanced tickets online, or just buy at the door.

Las Vegas Shows? What’s the best/discounted tickets?

My husband, daughter (age 13) & I are going to take a 4-day vacation to Las Vegas at the end of June. We are not gamblers, but we are hoping to enjoy relaxing (got a great deal at the Palms) and seeing the sites and a show. The shows are amazingly expensive. In particular, we are interested in “O”, “Ka”, The Blue Man Group, Phantom or Spamalot. We are open to other ideas too. Would appreciate suggestions on ways to get cheaper tickets &/or other shows that are good /less expensive and appropriate to bring our sweetie pie to, also. What kind of tickets to you need to walk on top of the hoover dam?

I saw online 2 types of tickets-The Hoover Dam Tour which includes going under the hoover dam, looking at it’s turbines and such, and I saw an area for visitors center tickets. Do I need to purchase the tour tickets to gain access on top of the hoover dam to walk across it? That’s all I want to do, just walk across it and see the beautiful view.
