My trip to: Las Vegas: Bellagio and Paris Hotel rooms.

Feb 2010: Mini-2-nights vacation to Las Vegas. Stayed one night at the Bellagio Hotel… highly recommend staying there… beautiful and luxurious even for a standard room. They have lots of yummy restaurants and a beautiful garden. Spend the 2nd night, regrettably, at the Paris Hotel… I do not recommend spending anything over $100per night to stay at this hotel… small gambling area… the restaurant seem nice, but didn’t bother to try any of it so I can’t comment.

Las Vegas shows – first trip?

Going to Las Vegas for our anniversary (and my husband’s first trip there). I have tickets for Penn & Teller, but I’d like one more show. I am trying to decide between Mystere & Love (at Mirage). I know there are other shows, but we really love the Beatles… hard decision. Anyone have an opinion between those two shows, or maybe a better one?

1hr40min layover at Las Vegas Airport… Is there enough time for a quick trip to The Strip?

I will be on a plane from ABQ to SFO. I need to change plane ay Las Vegas (LAS). The plane should reach LAS at around noon. While my flight to SFO depart ard 13.40hr. Is there enough time for quick trip to the Strip? Take some photos, shop at M&M shop…etc?

Nice to have a hotel room after a long drive – and some entertainment to boot – Treasure Island was great – a cool pool in the desert heat, lots of restaurants to choose from (we chose Vietnamese for something new, and were reminded of our earlier Dean Koontz audiobook with a Vietnamese main character) – then, out on the strip at night for more entertainment including the Pirates and Siren show right outside, and the open air skyways – and non-stop commotion

Leaving on the shuttle bus from Treasure Island to our hotel. We take a short jog down I-15 and catch some cool views of the hotels along the strip as well as the traffic.

trip to las vegas, what to do? shopping & party?

Hey guys!

I am attending a course in Las Vegas from oct 17th to 26th. I come from Spain, my 1st time in the states I dont know what / how to do in Las Vegas alone 10 days… apart of the obvious, gambling.
Can you recommend any places to hang out? I like rock and roll as well as party
The States is now very cheap for the europeans due to the dollar price, but somebody told me Las Vegas is expensive anyway. Is that true? where can I buy electronics and clothes at a resonable price? Is it worthy to go to any nearby city to do shopping?
Are there any “must-seen” “must-do” in las vegas that i should not miss?
