Viva Las Vegas! Club info please…?
I am going to Vegas next month and my boyfriend and I want to go to a hot club while we are there on Saturday or Sunday night, maybe even Monday. I looked all over google but I want someone to answer who has experience with Vegas nightlife, which clubs are the best? And how do we get in, bottle service, fee, guest list…wait in line?
I’ve been to the ones at the Palms, are there any other venues that are directly on the strip (New York New York, Paris…Wynn etc)? Hip-hop or some music to dance to or a venue that hosts live bands like rock and/or Rockabilly/Psychobilly music. Thanks!
I have already been to numerous websites. I just want someone who has experience with the Vegas nightlife and knows “oh yeah Club X pops off on Sunday at the Wynn.”
Thanks.

Clubs only have DJs and none have Rockabilly or such. Here is a place to check out the different clubs by their actual websites.
1) Sunday – Body English, The Bank, Playboy, LAVO
2) Monday – JET , Prive
3) Tuesday – Pure, Moon, LAVO, Blush
4) Wednesday – LAX, Body English, ROK, Wasted Space
5) Thursday – Tao or Tryst
6) Friday – All Majors
7) Saturday – All Majors
The above list is pretty much right on except for missing the hottest and newest club – XS at Encore.
It is the place to be on Monday nights, and the outdoor patio is open on Sunday nights for a late-night pool party.
When you arrive in Vegas, check out the Las Vegas Weekly club grid
at http://www.lasvegasweekly.com – (scroll down on the right and click where it says “Download and print Xania’s Club Grid”.) It will let you know what is going on at every club every night of that week, and where the hot spots and celebs will be.
For getting in, the priority for the doormen at every club is always:
1) Tables/Bottles
2) Guestlist
3) General Admission line
At a hot club on a busy night there can sometimes as many or even more people waiting to get checked in for the guestlist than there are standing in the regular line, but at least the people on the guestlist get in eventually.
Bottle service runs an average of about $500/bottle with tax and tips, and some places will require more than one bottle purchase on a busy night to get a table.
Cover charge is $20-30 for girls and $30-50 for guys, depending on the place and the night. Most places charge cover even for people on the list, but cover is waived with bottle service.
Having a pass does not mean you are on the list, it just means that if you manage to get in before midnight, you won’t pay cover.
