If you’re hauling luggage(s), take a shuttle outside the baggage claim area. It is about $5.00 to Tropicana. If you have no large luggage, walking is the cheapest. It will take you about 45minutes to walk from the airport to the hotel. I’ve done that only once before and never did it again.
You could theoretically walk, the Tropicana is one of the closer hotels to the airport, but it is still a long way.
If you don’t want to walk, you could take one of the hotel shuttles (right outside the baggage claim) they charge 12 dollars (if I remember correctly) for a round trip ticket from the airport to your hotel and back at the end of your stay. They’ll give you a phone number to call to make a pick-up reservation for the return trip.
Then there’s always taxis, but they are really expensive, and there may be a surcharge for airport pick-ups.
Walk!!
Have a nice day.
Actually, you can walk it. It’s only about two miles. Not even the length of the strip. I’ve walked it before.
