Where can a 14 year old in las vegas find a job and a work permit?
I live in North West Las Vegas and i want to get a part time job. i need to know where to find a job and where i can get a work permit
can a 14 year old work in a grocery store or as a cashier

I would check with your state labor department as how to get a permit. I am sure that you can track them down through the state government website. That said, jobs for 14 year olds will be hard to find as you are lacking experience and job skills. I would suggest that you look for the usual types available such as lawn care and or babysitting, but at the same time seek some type of volunteer work through a church or community. These types of jobs while not paying anything do help you build your resume and will be helpful in the future.

Cleaning, kitchen work, packing, running errands, gardening, babysitting, newspaper delivery are some of the jobs available. These jobs will be posted in local newspapers and billboards. A better option is to work from home on your computer – write articles, sell on eBay, make a website, take surveys. In some cases, you may have to set up an account in your parents or guardians name, and ask them to pay you, after they get the money for your work. More details are available at http://kj9.info
